FACC : EXPLORATION ARTISTIQUES DES AÎNÉS FRANCOPHONES ET FRANCOPHILES DE DURHAM-PETERBOROUGH
FACC
The FACC Project
ACFO-DP received its government grant by Patrimoine Canada for the project, “FACC”, which aims to organize a series of artistic activities for Francophone and Francophile seniors in order to begin their creativity and their well-being-be while looking at different strategies to have a more inclusive community using the visual arts.
Francophone and Francophile seniors were invited to learn about the visual arts with five artists who shared their experience through this project led by the ACFO-DP. This enriching activity consisted of 33 workshops, given in six locations, attended by 131 people of all ages.
Our team was proud to see seniors who make up a significant proportion of the Francophone community in the Durham – Peterborough region develop their artistic and social skills with enthusiasm.
